Beginners Program
Our Beginner Jiu-Jitsu class is designed for students with little to no experience, focusing on the fundamentals in a safe, supportive environment. You’ll learn basic positions, escapes, and submissions while improving fitness, confidence, and self-defense skills. Classes are taught step by step, allowing you to progress at your own pace while building a strong foundation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Kids Program
Our Kids Jiu-Jitsu program helps children build confidence, discipline, and coordination in a fun and safe environment. Through age-appropriate techniques and games, students learn basic self-defense, teamwork, and respect while improving focus and physical fitness. Classes are structured to keep kids engaged while teaching valuable life skills both on and off the mat.
Our Adult Jiu-Jitsu program is designed for all experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Classes focus on effective techniques, conditioning, and live training to improve fitness, confidence, and real-world self-defense skills. Whether your goal is to get in shape, relieve stress, or challenge yourself, this program offers a supportive environment to grow on and off the mats.
Adult Jiu-Jitsu Program
Professor Helio
Helio first learned jiu-jitsu at 9 years old under Team Clube de Jiu-Jitsu Pitbull in Brazil.
He also trained under Professor Diego Carioca Draculino Team.
He moved to South Carolina in 2005, where he trained under Team Helson Gracie.
In 2012, he joined Renzo Gracie Newark and earned his black belt under Professor Marcos Teixeira.
In 2022, he joined Team Notorious MMA with Professor Fiona Rupinsky and Professor Marcio Bittencourt.
Today he is a proud owner of Kombat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Helio is a multi Pan-American Champion and International Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Federation Champion, and a bronze medalist in World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
